Robert & Sons Aluminum is housed within a 50,000 SF metal service center, with the ability to process coils by slitting, cut to length, blanking, shearing, punching, and CNC machining. Maintenance on all equipment – as well as the sharpening or grinding of all dies, knives, shear blades, and rolls – is performed in-house. Whether an inventory or custom order, we are dedicated to providing each and every one of our customers a seamless experience that comprises fast and accurate order turn-around, the delivery of quality products and an unsurpassed level of service from start to finish.
Shearing
Small orders and custom sizes are easily cut on the appropriate size shear, which allows us to produce what you need for a specific job.
Punching and Die Sets
Hole punching and corner radius are accommodated on individual punch presses for small quantity custom size blanks and automated on large runs. Hole sizes range from 1/16”- ½”, slotted holes ¼”x1/2”, ¾”& 1”, and radius corner sizes 1/8”- 2” are standard, any other size or shape can be made to your specification. Custom die sets can be designed for your specific product for repetitive items for stock and release shipments.
Custom Shapes & Sizes
CNC machining allows us to provide any design needed with very tight tolerances.
Slitting
Slitting allows us to produce tight tolerance width coil to your specifications and also for our standard size channel letter coil stock.
Cut-to-Length Sheeting
Stock size sheets are produced flat and square processing the coil on our cut to length line. Custom lengths up to 16’ long can be produced from any of our stock coils.
Custom Packaging
Our standard packaging for sheet, blanks, and coils are designed to protect the material from being damaged in transit or handling by the end user with color-coded boxes that clearly identify contents. Packaging can be tailored to fit your specific requirements.
Custom Color Matching
Custom colors are a large part of our inventory. We can match a PMS number or a painted sample, have the material produced and process it to your requirements.
Stocking Programs
The ideal answer for companies that use the same material or custom color on a repeated basis, our stocking programs allow us to produce and stock your orders release in pre-determined increments so your order is always ready when you need it.
Reflective Sheeting
Nikkalite and 3M reflective vinyl are available to be laminated to any of our stock items.
Protective Film
For enhanced protection during fabrication and stocking, a clear protective film can be applied to 1 or 2 sides of the material.
